On last Saturday night, after having our dinner, I and
Achayan were talking about the school we had visited that day. Amy was playing
with her kitchen set. After sometime he checked the Facebook in his mobile and
got to know that a girl was born to his cousin. So he told that good news to
me. On hearing baby Amy rushed to her dad, hoping she can see a baby on his
mobile. But accidently, the spoon she was holding, hit on his Eyes.
That’s it..
My husband got hurt and also he got angry with Amy. He
started yelling at Amy as well as crying of pain he had in his eye. Amy
starting crying loud. I was helpless. I asked him to wash his eyes. Amy is on
my lap crying.. L.His
eyes became red and he was not able to open his eye.
I made a call to eye doctor for an appointment. But unfortunately
the clinic got closed. But doctor told me to go to a nearest pharmacy and give
a call. Since the nearest clinic is in main road and its already 9.30 night, I can’t
go alone. So we locked the house and he took the car. He somehow managed to
drive the car with one eye closed. We found a clinic opposite to our township
open and I just rushed to the pharmacy and made a call to the doctor. Doctor
spoke with the pharmacist and he gave me an eye drop. Doctor asked to come to
hospital next day morning.
After reaching home, eye drops are applied and he started
feeling better. But sill he was angry with Amy. Poor Amy she doesn’t know the consequences,
was crying loud. I got tensed don’t know what will happen to his eyes. Also I
am afraid that Amy may get fever since she was crying for long time.
And that was a sleepless night. Entire night he had pain in
his eye and I applied eye drops in between. By morning he started feeling ok. By
that time his anger also dropped down and he felt sorry that he was madly angry
at Amy.
Once Amy wake up, my husband started playing with her. They
are back to fun. It was I who got tensed about both of them .But still his eye
was Red and we made an appointment with doctor in the morning. So I asked both
of them to get ready.
Amy, who got all the scold from her dad last night, wants Dad
to do all things for her. She want her Dad to brush her teeth, she want her dad
to make her bath..etc.. Wow.. what a magic.. I know always Daughters are ‘apple
of the eyes’ for Dads. And vice versa. Whatever fight they have, they will be
back as one soon.
After sometime I found both of them in bathroom, Dad is giving
bath to her daughter. Is the second time, after she was born, my husband is giving
a bath to my daughter. During bathing time, he asked her to took up and she
told him ;”Acha, if I look up while pouring water, water will enter into my
nose.SO I will not look up. You don’t know anything” For that my husband said, yes
you are correct don’t look up.
Hm.. thank God at least Amy knows what not to be done while
taking bath. J
