Chapter 28 : Amy and Our Cook

Once Amy started going to UKG, we appointed a cook to prepare dinner, so that I can spend more time on her studies. Cook will be cooking Chapathi alternative days and Amy does not like Chapathi.
One Day after Cook finished her cooking and about to leave. Then Amy called her and told her that next day we won’t be available and she need not come.. I was surprised. Even cook looked at me, since I will always inform prior if I have some other plans. Actually we have a plan to visit my in laws next day but we will be back by evening.
So I told cook that, there is no leave for you tomorrow, we will be available, so please come and cook. But Amy interfere and said, “No Aunty, please don’t come tomorrow, I don’t want to eat Chapathi, I want Pizza.if you didnt come only I can ask Acha to order Pizza.”
Cook and I started laughing and just then my Husband came back from work. My cook informed my husband that since the Owner Amma (Owner lady/head of the house} granted a leave tomorrow, she won’t be coming tomorrow. Then my husband had a look on me thinking I might have planned for something else. I just nodded by head telling I did not tell anything. Then he got to know which owner Amma Cook is referring.
Then Amy said: “Acha.., I don’t want Chapathi, I want Pizza”.

Another Day, Amy didn’t had her afternoon nap and she was very moody by evening. When Cook came and asked me what to cook, I said Chapathi.. Then Amy told, no she don’t want Chapathi and started crying.. Her dad asked her what she want and she said she want Pasta.
Cook told her that she don’t know how to cook pasta and only your mom knows how to cook pasta..Then Amy went to Kitchen, take the wheat flour bucket from my cook(She was about to take the wheat flour by then) and asked her to get out…
Amy said: “Aunty, if you don’t know how to cook pasta, you just go out. My Amma will cook pasta for me”.
After sometime, after taking a bath, she became ok and by the time cook prepared Wheat flour Dosa.
She had dosa and slept happily.
